This will make you level up to 20 as you finish the story leaving you up for the end game activities along with potentially more powerful gear and loot that you can obtain through raids and strikes. Only time will tell if this means that it'll be less challenging as well.

The new Destiny 2 Leviathan Raid will be similar to Destiny 1, It will have an increased power level with each encounter.

Most players see the Destiny Raid as the endgame of the Destiny titles.

The current level cap in Destiny 2 is 300, although you'll require a top-tier range of equipment to help your character reach such a threshold.

Destiny 2 has had a tumultuous initial first week but now things are gearing up for a bright future.

The maintenance comes just a day before the first raid of the new game, called Leviathan.

However, the incredibly popular "Raid" mode was not included during the original release, allowing fans to boost their "Power Level" and progression in preparation for its inclusion.

Speaking about the raid previously Director Luke Smith confirmed that they have no intention of releaseing any teases for Destiny 2's first Raid.

"At Bungie, our company values place the highest emphasis on inclusion of all people and respect for all who work with us or play our games", said Bungie CEO Pete Parsons over Twitter. "Together, as a team, you might even discover the how".
