TV Reporter Accuses Harvey Weinstein of Forcing Her to Watch Him Masturbate

09 October 2017

The accusation comes a day after Weinstein was the subject of a bombshell New York Times report that revealed that he has settled at least eight sexual harassment claims. Attempts to get a response from Weinstein were unsuccessful. Sivan noted to HuffPost that Weinstein's auto was "stocked full of cases of Diet Coke", which she said she found to be odd.

"I have a three-book deal with Weinstein Books, through Hachette", Brzezinski wrote on Saturday.

While partying with a friend and restaurant owner Giuseppe Cipriani, Weinstein offered the journalist a tour of the facilities. Sivan's friend spoke to HuffPost on the condition of anonymity because she wasn't authorized by her employer to speak to members of the press about any topic.

Actresses Ashley Judd and Jessica Hynes say he sexually harassed them.

Once Sivan and Weinstein were downstairs they chatted and he showed her the cafe. As they reached the kitchen area, Weinstein saw a few staffers working in the kitchen.

He then attempted to kiss her but she pulled away and told him that she had a boyfriend. She had a friend with her, and "just before Sivan left, the friend told her that if she wasn't back in 10 minutes, she would come to check on her".

So scary for her - and so disgusting and unacceptable for Weinstein.

A Democratic senator says it "probably makes sense" for all arms of the party that have received contributions from disgraced Hollywood mogul Harvey Weinstein to return it or donate it to charity. Weinstein then allegedly undid his trousers and started masturbating in front of her.

Speaking to the New York Times a day prior to her interview with Stephanopoulos, Bloom had said: "The allegations if true would constitute sexual harassment". She said he finished quickly and they walked back into the kitchen.

The only way for Sivan, who was blocked by kitchen equipment, to exit the situation was to push past him and get to the hallway. She told him no and ended the call.

After the NY Times published their story about "decades of sexual harassment allegations" against movie producer Harvey Weinstein, many who work in and cover Hollywood were amazed-because Weinstein's behavior has apparently been an "open secret," tolerated because of the power he wields.

As soon as the two friends left, Sivan recalled what happened.
