Stranger Things' Finn Wolfhard fires agent over sexual abuse allegations

23 October 2017

Wolfhard - who plays Mike Wheeler in the Netflix series "Stranger Things", and RIchie Tozier in the hit movie "IT" - just left his agent and agency. "The agency said it has a neutral, independent investigator looking into the allegations, and that it is company policy not to discuss confidential personnel matters", said an official of the APA agency.

EW has learned that earlier Friday, Stranger Things and It star Finn Wolfhard fired Grasham and parted ways with the agency.

Under the trending #metoo former child actor-turned-filmmaker Blaise Godbe Lipman took to Facebook on October 15 to post accusations against an unnamed agent. Film and TV editor Lucas Ozarowski, 27, was one of those who told The Hollywood Reporter that Mr Grasham sexually assaulted him at his home in January past year. "Tyler Grasham, however, is most definitely fired".

Grasham allegedly organised a smear campaign in order to "out" the actor (Lipman, who is gay, wasn't out at the time of the incident) "I didn't do anything at the time". He told me I'd never work in this biz.

Lipman told The Wrap that he met Grasham when he was only 17 or 18. Tyler Grasham is still working at APA, where he's been representing children and teenagers for the last ten years since this happened.

"I hope the light that's shed by the newly empowered victims who are coming forward, makes predators think twice". After seeing his post, film editor Lucas Ozarowski came forward with a similar story alleging Grasham groped him in January 2016. "I was young and desperately wanted acceptance within the industry".

The actor first met Tyler at APA's Beverly Hills office and later joined the executive for dinner where the agent supposedly got the aspiring star "drunk".

According to The Hollywood Reporter, Grasham then "poked" Lipan on Facebook, an unnerving act which lead him to post again - this time naming names.
