Kathy Griffin fires back at 'deeply misogynistic' Andy Cohen

30 October 2017

On Saturday, Kathy Griffin blasted TMZ's television gossip reporter and founder, Harvey Levin, and released his personal phone number online.

The comedian claims that Cohen, who replaced her on CNN's New Year's Eve broadcast with Anderson Cooper, offered her cocaine-twice!-before her two appearances on WWHL.

"Some of you may have seen a really vicious interview that my former boss, Andy Cohen" - then a Bravo executive and a producer of her 2005-2010 reality show "Kathy Griffin: My Life on the D-List" - "did for TMZ", Griffin began.

Kathy Griffin is ripping into Andy Cohen for dissing her to a TMZ photog - and says he was a terrible misogynist to her while she was at Bravo.

The interviewer responded, incredulously, "Kathy Griffin!".

"And I get it", continued Griffin, speaking from a Melbourne, Australia, theater before a performance and wearing her stage makeup.

Whoa - and doxxing Levin by publicly handing out his phone number on YouTube?!

As you may already know, Kathy Griffin posed for a photograph with a decapitated head in her hand to resemble that of Donald Trump.

On Friday, Bravo exec and host Andy Cohen made some remarks to a TMZ photographer about Kathy Griffin which prompted a quick Twitter retort from the My Life on the D List comic, accusing Cohen of being a misogynist. "He was asking me to do cocaine with him, that made me very uncomfortable".

"Both times I did the show, right before we went live, Andy Cohen privately asked me in an office if I wanted to do blow", she said of the man who was her boss for 10 years. A Bravo spokesperson also told Us Weekly, "This is completely false and we are not going to credit it with any more attention".

Griffin ultimately circled back that her goal was just to make people laugh - but proposed that Levin was attempting to blackmail her and coordinated her drama with Cohen.

"I've been detained alone at every single airport I've gone to", says the comedian, who adds that her tour has been selling out and receiving standing ovations. She stated, "you guys know I'm no prude, but I'm kind of like a straightedge, I thought he was kidding the first time".
