Judge accidentally reveals victor of hot United Kingdom baking program

Prue Leith mistakenly sent a congratulatory tweet to the victor of the show, which was hastily deleted.

Her Entrement cake for the final Showstopper challenge won heaps of praise from judges Paul Hollywood and Prue Leith, who loved her combination of lemon and lavender flavouring.

An upset-sounding Leith said: 'I'm in Bhutan.

Leith came under fire from fans of the hugely popular baking show when she accidentally revealed the victor hours before the finale was due to air on Channel 4. "I am in a different time zone and mortified by my error".

Prue said: "I'm in Bhutan".

Another tweet on her account reads: "It's the #GBBO final!"

The tweet was quickly deleted but not before people spotted it and reacted to it.

The other members of the team Paul Hollywood, Prue Leith and Sandi Toksvig, will also be back. I thought that they got it six hours ago.

The gaffe is bound to cause consternation at Channel 4, which is paying £25m a year for Great British Bake Off, with "executives likely to be concerned that the revelation could depress viewing figures for the finale of the first series on the channel", says The Guardian.
