As the year draws to an end, Microsoft now says it plans to launch the Surface Pro with LTE support in December.

Surface Pro with LTE Advanced follows on the heels of the recently-announced Surface Book 2, an updated version of the two-in-one laptop Microsoft first launched in 2015.

Beyond that, a frighteningly-intense Panay didn't reveal much else about the hybrid device, and failed to mention United Kingdom pricing, when it'll be available to consumers, nor the kind of battery life users can expect from the device.

The Surface Book 2 13-inch comes to the United Kingdom on 13 November with the 15-inch model slated for "early next year". The 4GB version will cost $1,149 and the 8GB version will cost $1,449.
