The New York City Police Department said Friday that a 2010 rape accusation against Harvey Weinstein is "credible" and the Hollywood mogul would have faced immediate arrest if he were now in the state and the incident was more recent.
The NYPD is investigating a third sexual assault allegation against Harvey Weinstein - this time from an actress who accuses the fallen movie mogul of raping her in 2010, authorities said.

The Associated Press does not typically identify people who say they are victims of sexual assault unless they speak publicly, which de la Huerta and Guiterrez have done.
Boyce said that De le Huerta's story was credible partly because of her "ability to articulate each and every minute of the crime, where she was, where they met, where this happened and what he did".
"As this is an active investigation", the statement continues, "we will not be commenting further".More news: Almost 40 Million Kidde Fire Extinguishers Recalled
Weinstein allegedly offered a ride home to her apartment where he demanded to come inside and have a drink de la Huerta said.
