Ed Sheeran's upcoming track to feature duet with Beyoncé

Flawless, meet ideal: Ed Sheeran has tapped Beyonce for a remix of his latest single.

The two music powerhouses will be teaming up to take on a remix of Sheeran's song "Perfect" together, and "perfect" could not be the better word to describe the situation.

Sheeran confirmed the duet this morning via his Instagram.

Another great part of this partnership? The track's original version, the fourth single from Sheeran's newest LP, officially dropped in September, and followed the massive successes of singles "Shape of You", "Castle on the Hill" and "Galway Girl".

Last Friday, Sheeran revealed that a "Perfect" collaboration was on the way, and fans wasted no time throwing out names like Justin Bieber and Taylor Swift as potential duet partners.

Following collaborations with Eminem ("Walk On Water") and J Balvin ("Mi Gente"), Beyoncé blesses us with another collaboration. In 2015, they performed a tribute to Stevie Wonder at "Songs in the Key of Life - An All-Star Salute", and later that year sang a rendition of "Drunk in Love" at Global Citizen Festival.
