UCLA QB Josh Rosen Will Not Play in Cactus Bowl

26 Декабря 2017

In case you forgot what happened last time the two teams met, there was plenty of tension between Mora and Snyder once the final seconds of the game ticked off the clock.

ESPN's Adam Schefter reports that UCLA quarterback Josh Rosen has absolutely no interest in playing for the Cleveland Browns and would prefer to play for the Giants, who hold now the No. 2 overall pick.

Don't expect any of the same drama from the 2015 Alamo Bowl, however, when the Bruins and Wildcats take the field at Chase Field in Phoenix for the Cactus Bowl on Tuesday.

In fact, Rosen is apparently so disinterest in Cleveland that he would consider returning to UCLA next season if the Browns committed to him at No. 1 overall.

Cleveland (0-14) will have the No. 1 pick if it loses to the Bears (4-10) this weekend or if the Giants (2-12) defeat the Cardinals (6-8). NY would clinch no worse than the No. 2 pick with losses in each of its last two games.

UCLA quarterback Josh Rosen is reportedly wary of winding up with the Cleveland Browns and could opt not to declare for the 2018 National Football League draft if they wind up with the top choice. Kiper has Rosen going fourth overall in his latest Big Board. Rosen sustained a concussion against Washington on October 28 and then sat out the following game. He has practiced every day this week, according to interim coach Jedd Fisch, and continues to be monitored by doctors, who have yet to clear him to play.
