The meeting was held at the FO in the federal capital under strict security.
"The truth is Pakistan had to present the case in ICJ that is scheduled in January, so by doing this, they wanted to create an image in the world that they very honest", added Kadyan. "This is a shameful act done by the Pakistan government". India also asked for granting consular access for Kulbhushan Jadhav at ICJ. the current act of the meeting may lead to a good outcome but we can not be sure of anything as of now. It was the first time that Jadhav was meeting his family since his arrest in March, and Pakistan portrayed it as a humanitarian gesture to mark the birthday of the country's founder Mohammed Ali Jinnah.
Pawar too, like Mukerjee, alleged that Kulbhushan has been tortured in Pakistan in last 22 months.
Meanwhile briefing the media on meeting of Indian Spy Kulbhushan Jadhav with his family, the Foreign Office Spokesperson Dr Muhammad Faisal said that Pakistan honours its commitments, and that India should also fulfill its commitments on Kashmir. He said the case was still pending before the International Court of Justice, and that Jadhav had requested clemency from Pakistan's army chief, Gen. Qamar Javed Bajwa. Pakistan rejected India's assertions while submitting its reply to ICJ last week.
Meanwhile, the Pakistan Foreign Office, in a statement, has clarified that Jadhav was not given consular access. "This shows the hatred and enmity Pakistan harbours towards India".More news: UCLA QB Josh Rosen Will Not Play in Cactus Bowl
