Burnout Paradise: Remastered Coming To PS4 & Xbox One On March 16th

20 February 2018

In fact, we all suspected the reason the Xbox 360 version of Burnout Paradise was delisted in January was because the rumoured remaster was on its way. Burnout Paradise Remastered will be released on Xbox One on March 16th, 2018 for £39.99 or regional equivalent.

Developed by Criterion Games, the upcoming remaster will feature enhanced visuals, performance and all eight existing DLC packs for the original release.

Burnout Paradise Remastered will include nearly all previously released downloadable content.

Legendary Cars: Includes the Carson GT Nighthawk, Hunter Cavalry Bootlegger, Hunter Manhattan Spirit, and the Jansen 88 Special.

Burnout Paradise Boost: Includes two vehicles with unique boost abilities: the Carson Extreme Hotrod and Montgomery Hawker Mech. It will be available later this year on Origin for PC, bringing the Big Surf Island add-on to PC players for the very first time.

Burnout Paradise Remastered first came to light in December 2017 when Brazilian site GamePress found a listing for the game in database of a local supplier. Do you think this was the best choice for remastering a Burnout game or should they have selected a different title?

As expected, Burnout Paradise Remastered also benefits from the extra horsepower afforded by Sony and Microsoft's latest consoles, with high resolution textures, 60fps, and 4K support available for the PS4 Pro and Xbox One X. Paradise was the last entry in the main series, with just one more Burnout title later released on mobile devices in 2010.
