26 March 2018

The OnePlus 6 is expected to be priced around $749. The phone might powers with Snapdragon 845 CPU. So, the OnePlus 6 will have a rear-mounted fingerprint scanner, under the primary camera module.

As far as leaked specs sheet is concerned, the OnePlus 6 will be equipped with a 6.28-inch Full HD display with a resolution of 2280 x 1080 pixels.

And OnePlus has confirmed to Engadget that this is a permanent condition, too: It will not provide any more 5T handsets to North American markets.

The development comes just after four months of the OnePlus 5T launch. Last year, OnePlus had witnessed around 139 percent growth in the region, accounting for about 25 percent of the company' entire online sales. These dimensions are very similar to the recently announced OPPO R15 which is expected to donate its design to the OnePlus 6. The smartphone may come up with two variants which is 6GB or 8GB of RAM.

OnePlus 6 will also have a dual rear camera setup, like we saw on the OnePlus 5T. The front of the device is rumored to have ditched the home button as well, suggesting that the fingerprint sensor will most likely be situated at the back.

OnePlus 6 is shaping up to be the next major smartphone launch of 2018.

The price could also be an indication as to how much the OnePlus 6 could be sold for. Meanwhile, OnePlus has f/1.7 aperture on its 16MP wide-angles lens, while that on 20MP Telephoto lens is f/2.6 aperture.

OnePlus 6 will sip its juice from a 3,450 mAh battery.

On the software side of things, the OnePlus 6 will run Android 8.1 Oreo-based Oxygen OS, which is already up and running on its previous phone like the OnePlus 3T, OnePlus 5, and the OnePlus 5T. The AnTuTu benchmark screenshots also suggested that the OnePlus 6 could feature an iPhone X-like notch on the front with the same 19:9 aspect ratio. The OnePlus 5T was launched with a price tag of $499 and was the choice of budget smartphone buyers who were seeking for some powerful devices at a catchy price range.
