Apple Inc. on Tuesday said it added support for its Pencil digital stylus to its entry-level iPad as the device maker tries to shore up its dwindling share of the US education market. The cheapest 9.7-inch option in the UAE starts at Dh1,299.

Schools, meanwhile, can purchase the new iPad starting at Dh1,294.65 and the Pencil for Dh359.10.

"It's important to us that you understand this data stays private", Apple's executives said.
