And media areas have also been marked off, meaning the first official preparations are underway at St. Mary's Hospital, in Paddington, West London, for Kate to have her third child with Prince William, 35.

Kate gave birth to George, four, and Charlotte, two, in the wing, where the price of a "normal" birth in a standard room starts at £5,900.

From designer favourites like Alexander McQueen and Jenny Packham to maternity brands such as Séraphine, Middleton never put a fashionable foot wrong.

As with George and Charlotte, obstetrician Guy Thorpe-Beeston and Sir Alan Farthing, surgeon-gynecologist to the Queen, will lead the team in charge with delivering the royal baby.

A spokesperson for the Imperial College Healthcare NHS Trust, the body which oversees the hospital, confirmed to that barriers and parking signs had been installed outside this week.

It is thought that the royal couple don't have long to wait before welcoming a sibling for Prince George and Princess Charlotte.
