How Guardiola Reacted To Yaya Toure’s Discrimination Accusations

11 June 2018

Sometime ago, Yaya Toure accused Pep Guardiola of "having problems with Africans".

In the interview with France Football, Toure said Guardiola "has often had problems with Africans wherever he has been" and suggested the City boss is "jealous" of him. We were together for two years and now this is when he says it.

He said, "He knows that I'm not racist".

Eto'o and Ibrahimovic were traditional strikers who came alive in the box but didn't contribute much to the team build up, something Guardiola considers an important attribute from his forwards.

The Manchester City manager has now responded to those allegations.

'They were lies and he knows it, ' he told TV3 in Spain.

The midfielder made just 10 appearances in the Premier League last season and before leaving the club after his contract expired.

The manager has worked with Toure for many years throughout their respective careers, and each has enjoyed prosperous moments during their time together. He'll never admit it (not liking Africans).

Pep Guardiola has no intention of returning to Barcelona in the future as he does not believe that his previous success there can be replicated.

"I even asked coaches for my stats". It was a generation of brutal players and the best player in the world.

"I watch a little and from the outside you see a very cool team and I see that it has lost only one game in the League".

Such is the ill-feeling between Toure and Guardiola, Seluk says that the Ivorian would be willing to play for any top-six club next season with a weekly wage of £1, supplemented by selected bonuses.
