I sort of disagreed with that but I still like Harry.

This wasn't the only bombshell that Markle unleashed.

The royal patriarch reportedly calls his new daughter-in-law "Tungsten"-which is a type of metal-as a testament to the fact that she is "strong and unbending", according to the Daily Mail".

"They were very forgiving, both Harry and Meghan were very forgiving about it", he said.

"I realised it was a serious mistake".

Britain's Prince Charles and Doria Ragland, mother of the bride, depart after the wedding ceremony of Prince Harry and Meghan Markle at St. George's Chapel in Windsor Castle in Windsor on Saturday, May 19, 2018.

In phone calls he said they talked about politics including President.

"I was jealous", he added.

"I cried about it and I regretted it because I really wanted to walk my daughter down the aisle". Markle said: "It was just a loose conversation about something we have to try".

"I can't think of a better replacement than someone like Prince Charles", he told Good Morning Britain, "He looked very handsome and my daughter looked lovely with him".

Thomas Markle has finally broken his silence on missing out on his daughter's royal wedding. I couldn't be more proud of those two and I think they'll do great. He said "give Donald Trump a chance".

In an interview with ITV's "Good Morning Britain," Thomas shared that during a conversation with his eventual son-in-law, Harry, the topic of Trump was broached.

Prince Harry's political views aren't anything the royal family wants the public to know! "There's got to be a child in the making, somewhere soon".

When asked by host Piers Morgan if he believed the prince was a Trump fan, he responded: "I would hope not, now".

While he "absolutely wanted to walk [his] daughter down the aisle", Thomas was recovering from heart surgery.

The Duchess is required to stick to the royal etiquette when it comes to her fashion choices in the royal enclosure, but she's definitely broken protocol before.

The fact that Mr Markle chose not to discuss the interview beforehand with his daughter is likely to be seen by many as suggesting their relationship is fractured in the extreme.

The Duchess of Cambridge is noticeably absent from this year's event, as she is now on maternity leave after welcoming her third child, Prince Louis, on 23rd April.
