Drake confirms he secretly fathered a son on new album 'Scorpion'

01 July 2018

Apple told The Verge that Scorpion raked in more than 170 million streams during its first 24 hours of availability...

The popularity is likely helped by widespread promotion of the project. "If Drake comes out with his new single, you're not going to listen to it?" On that song, Drake raps, with more regret that excitement, about learning that he really is the kid's father.

Drake, in a rare interview a year ago, described Jackson as a longtime model and voiced dismay at being pigeon-holed as a rapper.

The album already has 4.5 stars out of 5 on iTunes and some reviewers who gave Scorpion 5 stars have said "heat god is back", "been waiting for this one", and "nobody needs to release anything else".

The big headline is that Drake has used the release to break his silence over Pusha T's assertion, on recent Kanye-produced "diss track" The Story of Adidon, that Drake fathered a love child with a porn star.

"Breakin" news in my life I don't run to the blogs/ The only ones I wanna tell are the ones I can call, ' added the rapper.

Outside of the possible revelations on this new album, Drake has yet to comment publicly on the rumors of his alleged child.

Rival rapper Pusha T leaked the news on his song The Story Of Adinon, rapping the lyrics: 'You are hiding a child, let that boy come home, deadbeat motherfucker. Now, music fans have once again found themselves amidst the summer Nor'easter of a Drake album rollout.

Other in-demand producers on the first disc include No I.D. with a trio of credits to his name ("Survival", "Nonstop", "Emotionless"), DJ Premier who lends his recognizable boom-bap stylings to "Sandra's Rose", and DJ Paul who flips a sample of N.W.A.

Jackson had been working on an album of duets with Anka, the voice behind such classic pop hits as "Put Your Head on My Shoulder", in 1983. "I feel like, if he didn't finish it, you shouldn't use it. Respect the artist, I just don't feel like it's OK to use someone's vocals and. change them".

"I've seen this movie a hundred times; I know where it's headed / Realize someone gotta die when no one will dead it / Niggas gambling with their life for some content / That's the type of lottery that could get your top picked".
