The British actor added, "I think that [new showrunner] Angela [Kang] is astonishing, leading with such class".

Not only is the fate of Madison Clark (Kim Dickens) a major question, but we've already seen a chunk of the show's original characters go the same way as, well, a whole lot of other folks in the Walking Dead universe.

The Walking Dead, AMC Network's current pride and joy, continues to shamble forward like the rotting corpse of an undead walker. It was learned last week Rick and Daryl's relationship will be "at an all time low" and more strained than ever following Rick's controversial decision to spare Negan (Jeffrey Dean Morgan), ending the war.

The ninth season of "The Walking Dead" premieres on AMC on October 7. The trailer is out and god forbid one character/actor sure looks like he's being written out of the script. And a large part of me will always be a machete-wielding, stetson-wearing, zombie-slaying sheriff's deputy from London, England.
